Williamsburg, KY – Dayspring Health announces that Chief Executive Officer Larry Rector will step down from his roles by the end of 2025, closing a chapter marked by growth, stability, and mission-driven transformation. Larry first joined in December 2018 serving as Chief Financial Officer and Chief Operating Officer.
Larry shared that the decision was made after much reflection and prayer. “Leaving the team I’ve helped shape professionally, plus the transformational work accomplished over the last several years, certainly comes with an array of emotions,” he said. “Fortunately, I am fully confident in the board’s ability to identify the next leader and the team’s ability to thrive in the continued work of the mission. Our community is in great hands.”
“Larry joined Dayspring during a pivotal moment for our organization. His vision, dedication, and unwavering commitment have been invaluable to our growth and stability,” said Carrol Lunce, Chair of the Board of Directors. “We extend our best wishes to Larry as he purses future endeavors.”
“Determining the ideal time for a leader to leave encompasses many aspects,” Larry noted. “It should be during a time of financial strength, team strength, mission alignment, and at the completion of major projects. It is by the blessing of the Lord and the tremendous efforts of the team that we are in this season. Whoever is the next CEO is positioned to lead during a bright future ahead.”
Larry expressed gratitude for his time at Dayspring with a letter addressed to the team. “Thank you again for the opportunity to serve Dayspring beside you since December 2018. I am proud of the work the Lord has blessed during this time and am excited to see what else is in store for Dayspring and the communities we serve. These are the days we prayed for.”
The Dayspring Health Board of Directors has begun the process of identifying the organization’s next leader. More information will be shared in the coming months.
