The Project
The Need
Many consider the service area to be a healthcare desert.
HRSA Designation: Health Professional Shortage Area
HRSA Designation: Medically Underserved Area
Patients could drive over an hour to closest medical facility.
For specialist, patients can commute over two hours.
The Vision
dProvide a Fully Integrated Medical and Dental Home for Our Community.
To achieve this, we renovate an old Walmart location with over 50,000 square feet to become a comprehensive health care facility in Williamsburg, Kentucky.
Comprehensive
Depending on the needs of the patient, they are forced to travel as far as 75 miles or more.
Our health center is eager to stand in the gap.
New Jobs
We anticipate adding up to 45 new positions to the Williamsburg area with an average annual wage of between $55,000 – $85,000.
Additional Services
In addition to the array of services already offered, we plan to add many services not available in our area and some normally located in larger metro areas.
“A lot of people do not have the means to make a two hour trip and may put off their care due to this. It is much easier to interact with your local people rather than at a hospital.
When an emergency comes up for me, I go to Dayspring. Being taken care of close to home with people that we trust is something that I love.”
-David S.
“The chance that you would be taking with this group would be a strong, great investment.
Medical care has been something holding the city of Williamsburg back. The city continues to grow and having services close for the community is crucial.
Dayspring Regional Health Center is very important to me personally and as a leader of the community.”
– Roddy H., Mayor of Williamsburg.
