    How to get started?

    Get your Pregnancy Test
    • Come in to one of our clinics & confirm your positive pregnancy test!
    • Our provider discusses your journey and initiate prenatal care.
    • We schedule your “OB history” visit with a nurse.

    Why is it important to check your medical history?

    • You can do it in-person or by telehealth.
    • Our nurse will review your medical history to help & identify any risk factor for your pregnancy.

    Get your OB physical exam?

    • One of our OB providers will meet you for your first physical exam during pregnancy and will include any test or lab work.

    How do you choose the date for ultrasound?

    • We confirm your due date after your OB physical.
    • You will do another ultrasound on 20th week to find your baby’s anatomy!
    • Another ultrasound appointment will be scheduled on 32nd week to check on your baby’s growth.

    Ultrasound Availability

    • We offer 3D/4D ultrasounds to give you a chance to explore your child’s world. It’s important for you to be able to see what they look like and find out if there are any health problems that need attention.

    How often do you make routine prenatal care visits?

    1. Every 4 weeks until 28 weeks
    2. Every 2 weeks from 28 to 36 weeks
    3. Every week from 36 weeks until delivery
  • Pregnancy Test

    Get ready to deliver your baby (at UT)

    • They will typically see you for 2 visits – once at 20 weeks and again around 36 weeks for a delivery consultation. The remainder of your prenatal visits will be with Dayspring.
    • 36 weeks: Group B Strep screening.
    • Repeat appointment at around 36 weeks.
  • Pregnancy Test

    When do you need to make routine weekly visits?

    • Until Delivery or Until Time of Planned Induction of Labor, Scheduled Surgery, etc.
  • Pregnancy Test

    What you expect in the 1st week after delivery:

    Routine Postpartum Visit ~ 1 Week After Delivery
    • We also want to begin newborn care at this time or sooner if indicated.
  • Pregnancy Test

    What you expect in the 6th week after delivery:

    Routine Postpartum Visit ~ 6 Weeks After Delivery
    • During postpartum period, we also a full range of contraceptive options if desired
